SHOCK ART: As a part of the Art in Public Places artist selection, Tif Choate was chosen to paint one of the transformer boxes in Longmont, CO in 2018. She chose to focus the attention on giant colorful insects, wrapping around. A moth with a 9' wing span, and a dragonfly stretch the entire 3D space around the transformer box. A collection of other insects and arachnids share the space.
This is located next to the Super Target on the south side on Nelson Street and Hover Street.
