Two Permanent Collections - Two locations in Colorado
Kids love Dogs at Colorado Children's Hospitals
Especially when they are not feeling well and need a boost of joy. Luckily they have the chance to get a dose of happy when they see Tif's colorful, larger than life dog portraits.
Located in two of Children's Hospital campuses in Colorado, Tif has a number of artworks as part of each of the permanent collections in the hospitals. In 2019, after exhibiting her famous series of large colorful dogs at the Frederick C Hamilton gallery at the the Children's Hospital Anschutz campus in Aurora, CO, Tif was commissioned for six paintings to brighten the hallways of the newly built wing in the North campus in Broomfield, CO. The very next year, another commission was requested for two more paintings to bless the Aurora campus as a gift for a retiring chair board member. These two paintings were then donated back to the hospital and hang on the 9th floor for the delight of visitors and patients. See below for details.
A permanent painting "Freedom" by Tif Choate, located in the UTAH Tanner Clinic, Rocky Mountain Allergy specialists to celebrate a client's graduation, who is now recovered from all of his previous allergies.
A permanent painting "Divine, the hearing ear service dog" in WISCONSIN at the University of Wisconsin Veterinary School, honoring a mascot pet of the graduating class of 2009 and service dog with his own Scholarship program!
