"Want to Break Free" was crafted by Tif Choate in 2023
The eye in the painting is both vulnerable and bold. Like a well, with the depth of its emotion hidden behind a shimmery surface of fragility, the eye compels you to linger. It is an invitation for the viewer to engage with the artwork on a deeper level. The abstract city setting plays a significant role in this artwork, providing a backdrop that reflects the challenges faced by those who feel unseen or marginalized. By highlighting the importance of visibility, my intention is to initiate a dialogue about how we perceive and interact with one another in the modern world. “Break Free.” explores the desire to be seen and acknowledged. Through this artwork, I hope to inspire conversations about visibility, individuality, and the power of the human gaze in our complex and interconnected world.
Materials
Painting is executed on 20x20x1.5 inches Pro-Edge canvas, using Professional Acrylic and is protected with a glaze of UV varnish and secured with hanging wire. This original painting is framed with a 1" black floating wood frame. It includes a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) and is signed by the artist on the back.
Shipping
Shipping is available within the USA. Oversized paintings are rolled and shipped in a tube, while smaller paintings come mounted on a wooden frame and packaged in secure boxes.
