"Chicago Tempest" was crafted by Tif Choate as part of the series,

Intersect: A Retrospect of Juncture 2019.

A maelstrom of emotion and energy, "Chicago Tempest" is an arresting spectacle of color and light. Varying light glints across the painting due to its iridescent silver finish, changing depending on the angle.

Growing up just a stone's throw away in St. Louis, MO, the artist was no stranger to the thrill of the mighty city of Chicago. Sharing the same bustling midwestern lifestyle and turbulent weather, Chicago had a certain allure that cannot be denied. It is said that its unique weather can display all four seasons within a mere 72 hours, complete with every type of precipitation. Truly, it is an incredible city.

Materials

Painting is executed on 36 x 36 x 1.5 inches Pro-Edge canvas, using Professional Acrylic paint & iridescent silver paint, and is protected with a glaze of UV varnish and secured with hanging wire. This original painting is framed with a 1" white floating wood frame. It includes a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) and is signed by the artist on the back.

Shipping

Shipping is available within the USA. Oversized paintings are rolled and shipped in a tube, while smaller paintings come mounted on a wooden frame and packaged in secure boxes.
